Those of you that have powdercoated your intakes and valve covers. What color did you use? And did you have any discoloration problems? I want to go with a factory color, but I see you guys with bright silver and man it looks good. Could you guys post pics of your powdercoated engines and maybe a link were you ordered the powder or at least the name of the color.

Thanks... I like it. Lots of other options out there. Jeff has an awesome Red and Silver treatment going on his car. My buddy Phil has an awesome black treatment on his car.

Yeah, honestly it was one of the reasons I bought the car. :) At car shows I get way more people looking at my 20 year old LT5 than the new ZR1s.

Getting ready to have this done to mine, trying to decide on paint or powercoat :dontknow:, guess it's personal preference. Those of you who have powdercoated, does the throttlebody need to be dis-assembled for the procedure?

Rich,
If you paint or powdercoat, you have to take the throttle body apart (sorry)
But with Phil / Jim / and Wazoo, no worries!

David is correct. But with a support group like Wazoo do it. Clean up is a breeze and staining is a non issue. Add stainless hardware. Oh Baby
