Pretty much 95% sure I'm gonna part this car out. Of course if someone want the engine I'll be 100% sure. If anyone wants to put dibs on anything then nows the time small like 10 buck paypal deposits hold whatever you want. The doors I will sell as shells unless you get to me before I take em apart, and if you want me to ship them your gonna have to pay to box it up at the shipping store as I am washing my hands of any shipping liability as they always show up broken (I drove by a ups truck once and saw a box fall out from nearly the top, so thats how they do it).

I'll List the ZR1 specific parts to get it out there, I've parted vettes before so I have an idea of non ZR1 stuff values.

Car has 78k and paint is all nice as it was repainted, bumpers have some minor stress marks but no all over.

Prices are for local pick up.

Heart of the beast LT5 complete from pan to intake, all accessories, engine harness, and ecm. 5k

Door shells 500.00 each

rear bumper cover 1500.00 with lights 1650.00

ZF6 1,500

CLuster 500.00 Everything on it works

2000 for entire rear suspension minus shocks or 1,700 for D44 conversion items Pumpkin, Batwing, C- beam, driveshaft.

250.00 each rockers panels.

1000 for very nice set of wheels with new Nitto tires.

Quarter panels 750.00 each.

Is the BCM ZR1 specific?

It's bright red, but of never find a box for it, it would be freight item, and the last bumper I shipped when they just let me bubble wrap it, got crushed.

Do you have the Wheel lug nut extension that is usually stored in the center console, so you can get to deep dish lugs without damage, and/or the lugnut bag/directions?

L & R Seat belts w/retractors: What color, price and condition?
Pretty sure they'd fit in a USPS $4.95 shipping box.

Note: I'm still screwing around w/GM on the recalls (actually, they've been quite helpful so far!), but may need a Plan "B"

Thanks!

If GC doesn't go for the rear fascia, it is not cracked or broken and the price is right, I am interested. Second in line??

Also might want rear rubstrips fron the dog-leg back.

Where in VA. are you located? I may want to pickup it up.

Thanks

I still have to finish this L98 91 in my garage and get it out of there before I can start on this one.

Phew that was alot of work, and yes the Rear Bumper will be 1500, or 1650 with all the lenses.

Someone threw in a 94-96 Bose gold Cd/cassette, Cd and tape do work.

Or you can buy all the parts for 14k :-D

Before I can start on it though I have to finish this one and get the frame out of here.

Once I start parting it, in several weeks, I am selling it as a package with the rest of the engine. I really want to give it a chance to sell at the low price of 14k. Plus I have to get the 91 L98 parted out first.

Ooh big spender I'll have to figure out what I want for it as I have no clue what it would go for. Plus I have to look at it and make sure it's in good shape.

BTW it's not the people it's the car.

Ok what would you all do if you were worried about getting your cost out of it? not to mention all the work it is to take a whole car apart, and then without making any deals (had i gotten a deposit I would have honored the price) but I found out two other ZR1 parters have gotten 1800-1900 with no lenses or trim. Anyone else would re-price. No one complains when the prices drop.

Since GC passed on it I guess I am next up. Once you get it off the car please send me some photos of it, both outside and inside surfaces. If the rear bumper cover is a non-hit and no damage from removal I may be interested at your revised price. As stated in my initial post what I am willing to pay is based on condition.

Might also be interested in console and a second on the center cover with power key to Kevin based on price and condition.

Where are you located for pick-up??

Thanks

How is this applicable in your offer to part a ZR-1? I would have reseached my prices before I posted anything. You have parted cars before. Dont you know whats involved? Your the seller, you posted your prices to drive interest in your thread Then you change the prices on 5 items. Some a much as 200%

not to mention all the work it is to take a whole car apart, and then without making any deals

Again see above. You have parted cars out before.. You should know how much work is involved. Now you want to complain about it? How is this the buyers fault?

(had i gotten a deposit I would have honored the price) Really?? when was that ever an option? I would have been happy to have done that.

but I found out two other ZR1 parters have gotten 1800-1900 with no lenses or trim. So you figured well... nobody would catch my 200% repricing effort on some of the above especially the five listed items that were edited. [/QUOTE]

Anyone else would re-price.

Not sellers with integurity. Not applicable here I guess

No one complains when the prices drop.
No kidding..... of course not. What a no kidding statement.

As I stated I passed to the next buyer. However dont pass yourself off as a victim. How about hey I really made a mistake and I sorry. But hey thats just me.

I'm not going to be raked through the mud considering all the time I volunteer to keep my community safe. I'm not playing this game.

I would not have shipped the bumper anyhow as although I'm being flamed as an A-hole, I actually want people to get good parts, and the last cover I shipped was crushed by Fed Ex who fought me tooth and nail to not cover thier error.

Please lock the thread I will not be parting it here.

Kevin
09-12-2011, 11:39 PM
not that you'll check this again but I don't see why you're going to part it out anyway. if you don't want to have the car anymore pull it off the road till it sells. I also don't see how your chosen vocation should isolate you from being "raked though the mud" as you put it.

feel fee to pm me on the parts I asked for as i've volunteered my time to try and keep your car running.
