View Full Version : 91 ZR-1 starts,runs and quits.No codes

I have a91 ZR-1 with 40000 miles.Just got it out of storage and went for a ride.After 5 blocks, it quit. Hit the starter and it fired up and quit. Cooled engine and it ran till got home. Did the A to B jumper but got no codes. Engine needs service light comes on with the key. Engine will start and run about 5 to 7 min. and quit. Help anyone?

Had the same problem a couple of months after getting my 94. Turned out the primary fuel pump had seized up.

As usual Dr. Phil is right. The secondary pump runs for the first couple of minutes after startup then stops. The primary is not working..
