I plan to get the water pump and hoses back on the Z and run the Texas mile this october. I've run her plenty at the drag strip.

Cool! I wish that I had a mile run course nearer to me so I could give it a try. I guess I will just have to plan a trip to include the event

Have fun and be safe.

The event has a waiting list http://www.texasmile.net/registration.php
so you might not get to run this event. If you want to run a future event, plan ahead because it fills up quickly. At the old venue the limit was 160 vehicles; don't know how many are allowed in Beeville.

But thats ok because I know that I'm coming to your house for some of the best BBQ there is. And that will offset the possibility of not running the mile this year. Looking forward to seeing you and Mary again.

I've been thinking about running this year and contacted them last week. Only 2 people on the waiting list right now.

That list is pretty big. And not one ZR-1 is on it.

Spots available in Mojave Mile Wow! That's a long way to go to run a mile and and then turn right around and go back home.
