Greetings folks,

It is official, I have taken possession of what I consider to be a beautiful 1995 ZR1 that is in beautiful condition thanks to the love and attention of a fellow ZR1 Registry member, South Georgia Corvette, and the owner prior to this last one. We are caretakers of these stunning cars and I have enjoyed every second of time with this car!

Numbers:
1995, White/Gray, Dual Dunns, original wheels (etc.), with a wonderful B and B cat (and also have the stock exhaust). Production number: 247. And from what I have seen, it is a 1 of 8 for the year. 8701 miles upon delivery.

My wife and I both love Corvettes. But we don't do more than two cars at one time (except I'm selling my 67' Nova now to stick to my rule). Our first Corvette is a beautiful Ermine White/Nassau Blue 1965 Corvette Coupe, with stock pwr windows/brakes/steering/antenna and stock side pipes and aftermarket knockoffs all with a stout yet humble 327/300 4 speed manual. Technically it is my wife's car, but we do share....except I must say I typically do all the work and cleaning (but she doesn't make me clean the house so I'm happy to do it!).

The photo is courtesy of the previous owner, Mr. Gilliand, as I have yet to set up a photo shoot for our two white Corvettes.

I've learned a great deal from this group and look forward to many more interactions!

Mike,
Congrats on your car. I think it is #278. There is a picture of it in the latest newsletter--it is on a trailer. I have some more if you are interested. I know Chris was very particular. Don't know how much info he had on the car...I may have some.

Hello Ted,

You are correct about the number being 278.....not sure what was in my head when I typed the other number. I would love any other photos! Chris passed along a great deal of information which is actually why I'm selling my nova.....I like real cars and history! Again, any information you can share on this car would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to keep her as right as possible, keep his history as detailed as possible, but also drive her a little more than Chris did (which was 700 miles in five years). But it will only be driven as a collection car would be driven to keep her running well.

Again thank you!

Mike

Thanks! Nice to bump into a fellow Nebraskan on here. I know there are a few ZR1's from the C4 here in Nebraska. Saw one in Seward just two nights ago (a 94').

My wife and I are members of the Nebraska Corvette Association in Lincoln....hope to bump into at a show or event somewhere along the road!

Congrats on the car Mike. I am about two hours west of you in Grand Island

Does Ted Hughes still have any ZR-1's? I know he has a new one. He's from Seward.

He has a plum 94' ZR1.....which is his only one from the C4's. But as you know, it certainly isn't his only car. Heck of a nice collection but I just want his garage!

Thanks Bryan! Time to go do some driving so I can undo all the bug cleaning I've been doing! :-)
