David - I have had the car since January of this year. It needed a little work because it has been sitting for a little while. Everything got put back together about a month ago. It is a nice car with about 15,500 miles on it.

I remember when that car was for sale.... Wow... Callaway and 93 Ruby!

What did you get fixed on it? Injector/ coil packs?

David - it had a vacuum leak and the secondary pump would run continuously. I fixed the leaks and the secondary system works fine now. It also needed injectors because it sat so long that the old fuel gummed up everything. I went ahead and did plugs, plug wires, coils, etc. while I had the plenum off. I had bilstein rebuild the shocks. It needed some shock bushings as well. I replaced a couple of the ujoints and replaced the clutch also.

These cars don't like to sit for long periods of time it seems. It was a little bit of a project at first. But it runs great now!

Would any of the ZR-1's want to do a meeting at one of the Cars and Coffee things? I think we have a number of memebers around Houston and it isn't a bad drive for me?

Daniel - I would be glad to meet up with you and some of the other Houston/surrounding area ZR-1 owners for a Cars&Coffee sometime. The next one is on Sept 3rd, but unfortunately I will not be available that weekend.

Mystic ZR-1 - the car has several callaway mods. A CHIEF package was installed. Which consists of their custom calibration, callaway headers, K&N filter, callaway double D exhaust, lightweight single-mass flywheel and centerforce clutch. The cams were also timed by callaway. The car has callaways coilover suspension package, brembo brake package, and wheel package(O.Z. Mito's). The car also has a 4.10 gear in it as well. That is all I know about the car for sure.

I wouldn't make the 3rd either. I will either be in Bowling Green or at a Wedding (I hope to get out of that mess). Maybe the October one?
