Is this product suitable for the ZF tranny? I know that Amzsoil and Castrol have the perfered product. But I would like to be able to get something local and the Pennzoil is. So what say you about it yes or no? Thanks.

If you mean be able to find locally, Castrol 10W-60 is available at any BMW dealers. ZF6 takes 2.2 quarts (or as it 2.2 liters) if I remember correct.

White Bullet,
I lived in Orlando in the 90s and Titusville was not that far.
Ever go in to Longwood area? As I recall, Field's BMW was out in Winter Park. I believe there is another in Daytona.

I do not know the answer to your Q, sorry. But here is a mail order link that I use when I'm too lazy to drive to my local BMW dealership.

I've used these guys and they ship fast/process orders fast.

fwiw. I used to use the GM fluid that they were selling for the zf box, but I used to change it every year so say less than 10k miles...really more like 7k miles. When I realized that the formulation was not the same formulation as when our cars were in production I switched to the Castrol/BMW stuff...but I still change it every year.
