I picked up a mag called Corvette Milestones the other day.
Has a pic of a 2011 Grand Sport Vert on the cover and right below it they have this statement:

2011 GRAND SPORT
Fastest GM Production Car of all Time

Funny...I didn't know the Grand Sport had surpassed the new ZR1 in top speed, much less the current Z06 as well.
