A fellow registry member has a locking lug nut bag for sale. My problem is we're not sure it's correct for a 1992 ZR-1. The NRCS 92-93 Information Manual and Judging Guide says that DUK-10180891 is correct for the 93, but doesn't specify a # for the '92, only that it may be green or white. Does anyone know what I should have for mine. Thanks.

These bags are all the same from 90 to 95 (green bag)

Are these bags for the lug nut or the lug nut wrench?

John,
This from the 1992-1993 Corvette NCRS Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide,
"The 1992 and 1993 locking lug nut kit consists of a bag containing a special key wrench, four locking gold cadmium plated nuts, four plastic nut caps, and an instruction sheet. As an alternative, the locking nuts may be installed on each of the four road wheels and in the opened bag, the four extra wheel nuts, instructions, and special wrench. The locking lug nut bag color is green or white."
The manual does not explicitly address the ZR-1 in this section, rather, all corvettes for these years. The manual does have a pic of the bag for a '93 ZR-1 (part # 10180891 DUK). David's post addressed my question about what' s correct for the '92 ZR-1. Green. Ditto for all other C4 ZR-1's. Thanks, David!

FWIW
I do not believe the bags were the same for the MY 90 to 95.
Here is a photo of a green bag which was judged correct for a MY 1990.
I have also seen the clear bag with number 10080893 DCU

Any idea what the point deduction would be for a missing bag during NCRS flight judging?

Any idea what the point deduction would be for a missing bag during NCRS flight judging?
On a MY 1990 there are 6 originality and 6 condition points allocated to the wheel wrench and Locking Lug Nut Kit.
At a NCRS National meet they deducted 1 originality point and one condition point on my car for not having the plastic bag.
This makes some sense given the line contains the wrench, and the kit contains 4 lug nuts, the bag, the lug nut wrench and the warrantee card. I was missing the bag so 1/8 of 6 points would round to 1 point on originality. Since the item is missing they would also deduct 1 point on condition.
Hope this helps,

It's great that the NCRS is judging these cars now. It's going to be a big learning curev for some of us. Being very familiar with the judging process, I an tell you that things changed during production. Sometimes rapidly. The biggest mistake you can make is to think that all 90-95 characterisitcs are the same.
This is one instance that validates changes. Don't always believe the judging manual wither, even though your points depend on it.
