Water pump started leaking on me, what am I in for in changing it but most importantly where to get the pump?

Autozone offers a reman for $126 after core refund....valucraft....their top of the line is $325.....but for that I would get a reman from Marc for about the same price.

i put an email out to the listserv when i needed one years ago. don't remember what i paid for it though. I've still got one that needs rebuilt kickin around

I think Corvette Central has 'em for $199 plus shipping.
Nothing to hard about changing the water pump if you are mechanically inclined.
Keep the water pump bolts matched to their appropriate position in the new one. They are different lengths.
Remove the tensioner, it makes it easier.
That's about it for tips.

I got mine from corvette central with the gasket for $199 plus shipping in four days.

Yep,
Corvette Central has original LT5 Water pumps, can't beat them for price.
