Here's a great ad. Sure to sell right away, especially for the great price. NOT.

There was a 1991 here on the registry and San Diego CL for $14,995 last weekend with 47k miles on it and the DRM 500 treatment...surprised nobody scooped it.

Gary raised the price after he didn't get a quick sale (now $18k), but I went to look at it with a friend who had money to buy, but he chickened out because he doesn't know C4's. That car is/was a deal...almost nothing wrong with it.

$15k! and it didn't go...I want it, but I can't buy two of these in one year.

Not even a VIN in the auction. No sale, guaranteed.

Yep, I emailed and told him his ad was LACKING in detail and all original tells me nothing. Just trying to help, but haven't heard back yet. Also asked for the VIN but probably won't get it. Also noticed he has mileage listed as 26,900 Kilos in one portion of the ad and 26,900 miles in the description. Big difference.

I also emailed last night to ask for the VIN, not expecting much though.

Let's hope it does! That would seem to say the market has bottomed out.

I hope they start to appreciate, Z's deserve to rebound.

My $0.02

Got this today:

Dear hammer,

The VIN is 1G1YZ23J1M5800882, it is a US car from Colorado. The car has its original paint and in no need of repairs, I believe I am the 3rd owner of the car but I will have to verify that to be 100% sure.

I had the car on my list as being listed on Ebay in August '09 out of Colorado as he said. It showed, get this, 26,900 miles on it then and listed for $21,900. Can't tell you if it sold or not, but I don't think so. This dealer got it for much less I suspect.

There are a few high priced Z's floating around my neck of the woods too.

1992 asking $31,900.00 (CDN) - Click Here (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1992-Chevrolet-Corvette-ZR-1-Coupe-W0QQAdIdZ284735590)

1991 asking $29,000.00 (CDN) - Click here (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1991-Chevrolet-Corvette-ZR-1-Coupe-W0QQAdIdZ282350574)

There was another person who had his black 91 listed for $40,000.00, but I can't seem to find his ad anymore.

These guys need to recalibrate their time machines to 2011...

I paid close to half that amount last year for my 34K mile, clean, one owner, fully documented 1990.
