Hi,

I posted this request on the other site (C4 and Zr-1) looking for information on 1994-and 1995 Zr-1's rear springs. On the 1984-1996
suspension chart the 1994 and 1995 ZR-1's show the same front 75.5 Nm
and rear 33.0 Nm, but there is no codes (2 or 3 digit )cross ref chart.

If anyone who has access to build sheet for the two cars can you let me know what you show in the space front and rear spring are on the build sheet.
A corvette parts place has springs but they are in a pile and they don't know what year they came from, that's why I need the codes.

Thank You

John,

I have found that the factory spring codes in the GM parts listing are sometimes wrong, in so far as they don?t match what the car was built with. Because of that I have been recording the spring codes for ZR-1?s that have a known history. That is, original owner cars.

I have observed that several of each year ?92 to ?95 ZR-1?s all were built with rear spring RHY.

For some reason I have an aftermarket rear spring on mine. Did any other models have the RHY rear spring. Are they hard to find? what about 91 cars?

Marc,
My ZR-1 is a 1990 #2546,and i have the build sheet. ON it it shows that the front
spring is code AA and the rear spring is code NYR.I known the rear spring code is correct
because i have removed it to service the rear. After 20 years and 112xxx miles the posi went out.So as long as the rear came out for service i' ll rpl the stock gears 3.45 with 3.73 and install a lighter spring 228 lbs(new). that way i'll the spring i want.
I also was told not to use an old spring as it could crack because of (age ,weak or not as strong ).

thanks
