I'm finally doing it. I'm leaving friday for Cocoa Beach. The Z is ready to run. I'm looking forward to drag racing at Valdosta and Montgomery, then autocrossing at Nashville. Then making a lap at Indy. Cruise Nights at Muskegon and finally Detroit for the Long Haulers Award.
I think I have packed everything I need but I am open to suggestions on what you would take. If you are in the area come and check out the cars and look me up.

Watch out Mike. He's calling you his hero one minute. And sleeping at your door the next.

We're doing a ZR-1 Registry team run. It was good to meet him and he is making the tour a lot more enjoyable.

I had to go to Detroit friday on business. I saw quite a few Power Tour cars on the freeway. Neat stuff.

Had a great time on the power tour. 3380 miles in 9 days and 8 car shows along the way. The ZR-1 ran great all the way. Temps in the south were around 100* and the car never went over 225* in trafffic. Considering the amount of cars attending I was impressed the attention the LT-5 got with the hood up.
Met GolfMike in Cocoa Beach along with the owner of a 95 Yellow Z. Saw a 91(?) in Muskegeon parked downtown. So four ZR-1 was a good showing considering almost 2000 cars a day.
The greatest part was the long haul awards at GM proving Grounds in Milford. I never dreamed it was such a large faclity, 140 miles of roads. We were on a 66 acre patch of pavement call Black Lake. As we left we were allowed about a six mile cruise arounf the grounds. GM doesnt allow the public on the ground so it was a big deal to allow the HRPT inside the gat
