For the last couple weeks we have had several major forest fires burning in the area. They evacuated the camp I stay in for one night & another for 3 days. Fire is presently burning about 25 miles north of us. The one plant which usually has about 600 people onsite( maintenance & construction)has a skeleton crew of 75 looking after the place rest were sent home. We are OK as long as wind doesn't blow from the north, which it has last 2 days. We need a bi g rain soon !

Reminds me of the fires that were going on in mexico back in 1998. Brown skies in texas for months. Funny thing is I didn't think there was anything to burn in mexico besides marijuana. Lol!
