Hello Guys

i have replaced my injectors from Racetronix
all primer and seconder
my ZR1 has 11 .000 miles and was the most of hear live in the Garage and the Showroom
Pete tells me last year to change the Injectors
because some time i have no full power i think and feel it
so i have replaced my injectors from Racetronix
i also take Jerry's gaskets for the plenum
and replaced the Spark Plugs from Delco
and the Fuel Filter also
and i t runs very nice the first time
i make a test ride and the tach falls out and the engines stop
so when i start again the the Starter is working but no running engine
the fuel pumps does not running at the starting i cant hear them
maybe the fuel pumps ? the fuse are OK
when you have any idea i am thanks full for all information
thanks a lot

When you turn the ignition key on you should hear the fuel pump run for a second and then stop. If no sound from the pump, check back here for the step ...

I agree, sounds like a fuel issue to me also. I would connect my fuel pressure gauge to the port at the front of the right fuel rail. There is a valve just behind the back of the alternator with a silver cap on it. Unscrew the cap and thread the test gauge's hose on there.

I would follow the steps in the Factory Service Manual for doing the KOEO fuel pressure test. KOEO = Key On, Engine Off test.

Let us know what you find.

i heard after you change the injectors, you then have to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the computer, then it will conform to the new injectors installed.

Thanks a lot
When i turn the ignition key on i cant hear the fuel pump
i will check the full press and i have disconnect the battery at the change
i only think the tachometer goes down before the engine goes out
maybe the Ignition Module ? or a connector
i get today a camera to look under the Plenum so i can check the connectors
i will let you know when i know more
thanks a lot for your Help

No spark after a plenum pull is usually an indication of a bent pin in the ignition module. Most of us have done that (me included). Remove the plug & check the pins.

i don't remember having to do this when i swapped mine out

One of two things:

As Jerry said, check the ignition module pins, that may be the problem
You mentioned no ECM codes, did you check CCM as well? If you put a battery booster on the car and then tried to start, you can fry the CCM and this would cause a no start.

Also check the plugs behind the coil packs.

Band pin had also happened to me and i was pulling my hair for a couple of hours :)

I put the main connector, the longest or largest connector, at the back face of the ignition box on upside down and bent one of the pins and I had to pull the plenum to straighten out the pin!:o

Only thing was I had ignition function. The system went into some kind of limp home mode. The motor would start & run but it sent a code 41 (?). I would have to say maybe one of the small plugs at the front of the ignition box maybe the issue here? :o

Hello Guys
i have look at all but i cant find a problem
the pins are all straight and the plugs and connectors are all
in the right position and i find 2 things yesterday
the map vacuum line has a small crank so i change it
and the positive pole from the Battery was not real strong
i can move it with the hand so i take new battery bolts
the old was not in the best condition
but it is still the same maybe it is the ECM but i have no
trouble code in the CCM and the ECM
i have no spark
and the fuel press is OK the pumps work
so what do you think shod i look for a new ECM
manny thanks for every help
thanks

Glad to hear that, Jochen! Was it a bad connection, or the sensor?
