I need to buy exhaust manifold bolts ASAP. Who is the best source for the bolts? Does GM still make them?

Thanks
Brett

Jerry has a couple of them-click it to say Doh! (http://jerrysgaskets.com/store2/root/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_4&products_id=243)

I bookmarked it because I thought mine was missing hardware, but it turns out they only used 7 out of 16 possible fasteners anyhow.

Thanks, Mike. I had looked at the website before posting this thread and didn't see it.

Not sure. I'm going to call Jerry and make sure I get what I need. The motor goes in this weekend.

OK gang, we need your help on these bolts. I have new bolts, but do not have the spacers & retainers. With the number of headers that have been installed, there should be some stock bolt/spacers around.

Help is appreciated!!!

Thanks, Jerry. You da'man

My goal is to install the engine with the manifolds attached, this Saturday. I suppose I could always install the manifolds "after" the engine but it sure would be easier to do it ahead of time. :(

I'll buy these from anyone willing to ship them ASAP.

Thanks
Brett!

I cannot get over the help available from Jerry and marc. This ZR1 niche' is by far the best of any segment of the Corvette community that I have been associated with over the past 30 yrs.

It's just amazing.

Jerry spent most of the morning searching for bolts for me and won't even let me pay him for his trouble. The beer is on me at Bowling Green, Jerry and Marc.

Jerry found some bolts from Marc Haibeck. Marc is sending them to me so I can get the engine installed this weekend.

Thanks again, Jerry and Marc!!!!!!:handshak:

Coming from you Brett that says alot.Do you have a lower radiator baffle for the car?I just found an NOS piece while looking for some other parts. This is for an 84 but might be the same part for an 88 but not sure. This would be the part you see if you look under the bumper.

Its not the air dam,its the part that directs air into the radiator.

Oh yea that thin plastic part that goes on before you put the air box in place, right Jeff?

I just have to say that Jeff hit the nail on the head.

I was very proud when I became a member of the Brotherhood Of The Beast, but to hear someone that has Brett's experience in the corvette world saying that we have something special is pretty cool to me.

Sorry to highjack this thread Brett, just did not want to post a duplicate one as I need the same.

I have to bolt on the stock exhaust manifolds (headers) and what really sucks is I have a bag of all the original bolts when mine were removed but in long term storage with no access.

Anyone else have some bolts I'm looking now...........I could probably find bolts even here in Japan, but those spacers . Unless someone else knows what else does and does not work.

Thanks,
Craig

I have most if not all of the bolts and spacers from my 91.
