This saturday I spent some quality time with my girls at the range.
Shooting my new Savage model#93R17 HMR. We had a blast.

It looks like the girls are having fun, but I am worried about you....
A machinist that doesn't know the difference between 50 vs. 100 yards?....lol.

It was definitely 50. Cuz I took a look at 100 yards and thougt id better see how we do at 50. Once I get the scope dialed in at 50 and can put 5 rounds in an area the size of a dime then I'll move up to 100 and fine tune it. We went through 100 rounds in 3 hours. Everybody is packing out here so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Now I understand.
I was born in California but I got to Texas as quick as I could.

Rick,
I just arrived with the wife after her back surgery and was checking out the girls shooting. I read what you said about leaving Cali for here and she said you are alright in her book after hearing that satement you said, lol.
So far it seems her surgery worked. We'll know in a about 5 days. Later.:-D

Thats really good news. I know back surgery is a mother. She couldn't be in better hands.

It seems like we have all the time in the world when kids are young, but in reality it will pass in the blink of an eye.
So any time we can spend with our kids teaching them something, or enjoying an outing together is quality time.

Only thing is I gotta get her back on her prempro as I have a bad case of NO-AZZ-A-Tal. Can't seem to do a thing right in her eyes ever since we stopped her meds for the surgery but tomorrow morning she gets that little pill!!!
Good to see you had a good time with the girls. The older girl sure has an interesting firing position but seems to work. Now if that was a 12 gauge there would be a different outcome.
Z Factor is right and cherish every moment now.................:-D

How right you are. You know it took me a long time to realize that im a parent. For the longest time it was all about me even after I was married and they were born. Id go do my car stuff/car shows/drag racing ect and come and go as I pleased as if I was single. My wife would always get on to me for not spending enough time with my children. And one day something just snapped in me and I started spending allot more time with them and really enjoy being a father Its been the best change I've ever made. I wouldn't have it any other way.
