We have created a new Regional Section for the ZR-1 owners and enthusiasts in Japan. The regional Director for Japan is Craig Toyooka (HawaiiZR-1).
Welcome, I hope you will join us in some lively and informative discussions.

Thanks Jim; we really appreciate this special section. I'll get the word out to the 3 members that I know and hopefully they can spread the word to get some activity here. I have very limited access to the internet right now, but will post some photos after I get the Z unloaded from the container as it arrived on port last week and going through customs.
Otherwise I'm loving it here and it seems a 5 year tour will not be long enough to enjoy what this country has to offer. Despite the current situation, all is well and we are still praying for all of those affected by the devastating disaster last month.
So am I still the Hawaii State Director too?..........lol

Hi,Mr.Jim.
Thank you for created a new Regional Section for the ZR-1 owners and enthusiasts in Japan.
Unfortunately, in my circumference, there is the person who has sold ZR-1.
However, there is the person changing to ZR-1 from other car models for the objection.
As for me, I become a captive of the fascination since I purchased '95ZR-1 in 1995.
I continue stepping on ZR-1 from now on. And I believe that surely my son and daughter continue stepping on ZR-1.
Mr.Craig.>
I thank for your consideration. And I feel glad that much pleasure is provided through ZR-1.
The clutch of my ZR that time of the exchange comes soon.
However, exchange of Exhaust System of '89 has been necessary first.

The Pacific Rim refers to places around the edge of the Pacific Ocean (http://www.zr1.net/wiki/Pacific_Ocean). The term "Pacific Basin" includes the Pacific Rim and islands in the Pacific Ocean.[1] (http://www.zr1.net/forum/#cite_note-ERICDigest-0). The Pacific Rim roughly overlaps with the geologic Pacific Ring of Fire (http://www.zr1.net/wiki/Pacific_Ring_of_Fire).

Keith,
Thanks and I'm sorry I missed your deleted post. Please visit so we can have pizza and beer.
Kenji,
Please let me know if you want to do the clutch and we can make it a weekend project.
All,
Bad news and my Z is stuck in Shanghai, China. I'm trying to find out more details but it does not sound good. Something about the government contract and shippers. Why it had to go through China is beyond me but something about going to Guam first from Hawaii. WTF, over?
My households goods are still in Hawaii too and have not left since March 3rd.....again, WTF over? I have to track all this down, but I know the government stopped anyone from moving to Japan 4 days after I flew. I guess I will have to live out of suitcases for awhile. More to follow........

Jim,
Thank you for your creating a new section for ZR-1 owners in Japan.
Craig,
Thank you for your inviting me here. Too bad to hear that your Z haven?t left Shanghai yet. Why Shanghai? To avoid nuclear crisis? I hope we will meet again soon with our Zs being side by side. If you need any help in Japanese language, feel free to ask me.
Kenji,
Is your clutch worn out? I could join your weekend project if I lived in Yokohama..:(
