way to many options to say a single price.

My 402 ( now Jim's)

HD liners, ARP studs, Cams, Mono runner intake, optioned out JE pistons, Moldex Crank, Crower Rods, Block work on Rottler CNC.. and a few more things.
over $30k without putting it together.

A base stroker ( any crank ) $20k plus.

Budget 379-383ci ( stock crank offset ground) add $300 over a 368.

Should be able to do a 368 under $10k. Want cams... $3800 plus

I can provide gaskets, seals, cam sprocket bolts, rod bearings, main bearings and Permabond A136. Also valves, springs & lifters if needed.

As stated previously, there are a lot of options. You can use the stock rods on a 368, as-is or modified & lightened.

You can shop my website & get prices on what ever you want.

What is the cost to convert a block to 415 configuration?

Sleeves cost?

any 368-415 the same liner LA # LT5 $1100-1200. 4" bore drop in replacement liner.

Then hone to fit piston, range $250-1000. Rottler CNC work I spent a $1000. Boring bar guys with hone plate $250-400.

Ron Woods had made a LA sleeve HD version of the LA#LT5 liner. The block has to be honed (bored) about 0.030 over to press fit the HD liner. I was thinking they are $1200-1300 something like that.

396,401,427,441 built from 4.100-.125 bore. This is money. the block work for this is major and prices were from $6000-$12000 for liners and block work.

Fitting the rod throws to the block, very little work. ( 1 hr labor).

bottom line for bare block with 4" bore
$2000-2600 range will get it done. I had a block with liners finished to 4.010 on the Rottler CNC and it did not sell for $1500.........
I finally sold it to GC and in the middle of making it a 380ci budget mini stroker.

Only build a LT5 out of the love for it. Other wise build a LS motor MUCH cheaper.

LPE will build you a 415 for 29K. No idea what parts they use etc. but you also get a 2 year warranty.

that would be awesome but I'm not looking to spend that much at all. Too pricey for me.

I'll probably just do a top end P/P, headers, 410's, exhaust, chip and run the hell out of it. A 368 or 380 sounds feasible as well. If I'm going to spend another $29k, I think I'd just buy a C6 Z06 and have my ZR1's and 53 to accompany it.
