Just thought I would show the difference:

(These Siamese are nowhere near finished, need to have ridge taken down, alittle touch up porting, and cleanup with flapwheels and then ported matched to the head)

If you are looking to maximize airflow, why leave the "waistline"? Why not blend the ports into one big oval?

You have to weld the entire IH to make it one big oval, I don't need that much airflow and you would have to do a lot of TIG welding, run risk of warping.

Looking alittle better, need to get some flap wheels, might have to clean the center ridge by hand.

Looks good. You need some mini flap wheels and a long mandrel to get the center. I modified a drill bit extension by having the shank turned down to fit in a die grinder - works really well.
