Well its been raining cats and dogs out here in Arizona so today I was able to wash the car, Adjusted the Passenger side hood release. Went to the frame shop to get two farmes for two more Corvette posters that I hung in my garage. One for an 84 vette Poster (Dom will love it) and the other for a new ZR1 poster. The 1984 poster is kinda cool I bought it from a member over at the other Corvette Forum and it was included in the "new" 1984 sales catalog. Its was signed by Zora Duntov on 22 April 1983 while he was at the Corvette Concours event held in Norman Oklahoma. Its is also dated the same date. The other poster well its my future car in 2021 as I love the new rockets ship ad.

The ones that were left were destoyed with Water Damage in Bowling Green. Can't remember what I paid but it wasnt cheap. The lightening and thunder poster I was lucky enough to get the last one the registry had

Your garage is drywalled?
I'm jealous.

Nice posters you have.

I think I have a couple of the lightning & thunder posters. If someone is looking. Have no idea what they are going for.

Thanks, Yes it is a 3 car, drywalled, textured and the front is all floor to ceiling cabinets. And..... I need more room. Should be ok when the sons move out. Or I move out to KY and get a garage like 96LT4 has in Georga. Or Ryan In Canada or lol

The water damage to the "Legend lives posters"was to JVD's shop in KY. Wherever he stored his two best collections of posters received a lot of water damage.

Tommy Morrison dug some out of his storage and got them to the last Gathering. I think that the NCM may still have some Thunder and Lightning posters. I have just moved into a new house and started on my Garage Cave project like my other Garage Cave. I would like to see what other Cave Art, as I'll call it, the other Z guys' have. I don't believe cars should sit in the dark by themselves. I want them to look at something while they wait. I have some pictures of the start of my garage art. It will take a while as I will be in ground school for AA for eight weeks and out of pocket.

Cant afford too unless I move back East and im too close to my neighbors house. The guy we bought my pops 96 CE in TN. Had an extended 10 car garage on his 4 Acre property lot. In the garage he had a four post lift. 4 ATVs a 69 Camaro, a T-Bucket and a couple of trucks. His real nice house cost him $200k. Crap I'll take two lol

Thanks, dude. I have some old posters that I got back in 2004 that I hung up in the old house. I had to take it all down and relocate it. I like to go into the garage and just look at the Z and the other Vettes on the wall. My outer sanctum as it were. I've got the same thing inside my man cave. I have a bunch more as soon as I can find time and the right frame.

Roy the one from the front just knocks it out of the park. My outer man cave is too just in the garage as the inner mancave is filled with Sci-Fi art. Too many hobbies lol

I know the feeling so I kept it down to just a few. Vettes and Jets! The new one will look somewhat different than the old. Chance to improve. My man cave has now a big closet to store my Vette stuff, I've got a fridge, microwave, TV and futon with two book cases, three cats and models of the planes that I have flown. It's a mess right now but will be squared away in a couple of days and I will post pics. I also have been given one of the bathrooms to put Vette stuff in, so look out. My man cave is kinda like a spare wing of the house so that I can hide in it and not listen to "The Bachelor" when it comes on. I love Man Caves! These are pics of the old man cave.

Let me guess. Battlestar Galactica with maybe a touch of Star Wars and maybe some Apollo moon landings for spice. I don't take you for a Trekkie. I'm working on cleaning up my playroom today because I am tired of it being being messy. Time for the Pledge! My cat has his own chair and the books that I read or have read.

I second that emotion. We need him to do all of ours. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that needs a Corvette Garage or Corvette Cave. Damn! I was trying to count how many things that he had on his wall and I lost count after 1,000. How many do you have anyway, John?

I'd be happy to do up anyone's garage!
I hadn't counted until tonight, I got 350 not counting all the stickers and magnets, probably an additional 250.

After dealing with AA for most of the month and food poisoning for one week, was able to get back on track with my garage art project. Got two walls painted now and working on the other one and 1/4. It's a work in progress but proceeding right along. Take a look.

Where I live garage space is next to impossible to rent if you don't own a home. My baby sleeps in a rented space in the Co-Op where my parents live. I actually used to work on the car in there too! Till the board of directors informed me that that was against the rules and threatened eviction.

Jetjock
03-27-2011, 12:06 PM
Back a long time ago, I had rented a space like that except it was just our cars. Biggest problem was that it about 30 miles away from me. Had to plan for all day to work on the car. All of the other homes that I lived in used the garage for storage of junk.
