No, but a LT4 / LT1 clutch will with LT5 bolts.

We have had this discussion many times in Wazoo land and I hope experts will chime in to correct me.

I may need to buy a new flywheel, then.

NO

LT5 flywheel/crank has 8 holes/bolts

you can use LT1 pressure plate with LT1 pressure plate bolts

Lee, I'll need it. I have the pressure plate from an LT1 and all the original bolts, I believe. Always one more part to buy......

So, the LT1 pressure plate will bolt up to the LT5 flywheel?
Pete, thanks for all of your ongoing input.

Yes, with the LT1 pressure plate screws.
The LT5 pressure plate screws are longer.

DO NOT USE THE LT5 PRESSURE PLATE BOLTS IF YOU USE AN LT1 CLUTCH, USE THE LT1 BOLTS.

THE LT5 BOLTS WILL TIGHTEN ENOUGH THAT THE DISC WILL NOT FALL WHEN YOU PULL THE ALIGNMENT TOOL OUT BUT THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE. YOU WON'T HAVE TO ASK HOW I KNOW, BECAUSE I (MY INSTALLER) DID THIS. AUTOZONE CLUTCH, HAD AN LT1 DISC IN THE LT5 BOX, DIDN'T MEASURE THE THICKNESS. AUTOZONE PAID ME FOR THE REINSTALL COSTS, LOCAL STORE PAID ME UNDER THE TABLE AS CORPORATE SAID NO TO THE PAYMENT. THAT CLUTCH WENT INTO MY OLD CAR #458, DAVE HETRICK IN TEXAS NOW OWNS IT. THE THROWOUT BEARING CAME APART AFTER ABOUT 10K TO 12K MILES.

HOPE THIS SAVED YOU SOME GRIEF.

I do not have a spare flywheel.....but I do have an OEM LT5 clutch disc and P-plate & release bearing that was in my 90. It has about 25k miles on it. I have this as a spare because before we all ( zfdoc ) figured out what was going on with the GM slave & masters I thought I had a clutch issue.

Bret you are welcome to anything that you think would help your situation. I know you will be fair with me so whatever you decide is fine.

just a for what it's worth.

I have an extra fork....I changed it with the clutch job, the fork ball stud too! Oh, you have a PM.;)

I was told that those parts were NLA, is this true? Anyway I have the OE stuff that I took out of the car when I did the clutch change...I do not know if I have the bolts but I will look.

My source for those parts were a place in Atlanta, GA called the last detail, thelastdetail.com.....I was on a first name basis with one of the guys down there and I'll look in my paid bills' file for the contact info if you would like?

I cannot thank Tom and everyone else enough for thier generosity. Building the 88 has been the most fun I've ever had building a Corvette, and I've built many Corvettes. Over the past 30+ yrs, I've owned nearly every generation of Corvettes. I've rubbed elbows with a lot of great guys. From 53's to midyears to late models, I've been in a bunch of Corvette niche's. By far, the ZR1 Brotherhood is scond to none. Everyone helps each other. The ego's seem to take a back seat to just plain having fun and preserving the LT5 legacy.

I really am proud to be associated with you guys. Can't wait for the Gathering in May!

Sincerely,
Brett
