As usual my big thanks to the WAZOO guys... Dave, Jim, Rich, Phil and maybe a honorary WAZOO member and next door neighbor Glenn (he was one of the founders of the Lotus Club USA...so Lotus-LT5...close enough ;) )

Dave and I start out the morning early to drive out to Great Falls for the Saturday GF Coffee and Cruiz In... of course being only about 30 degs the turnout was sparse, but for me it was still fun since I got to drive Dave's blue turtle with the new coil overs. Very nice, but couldn't really romp on it since summer performance tires and below freezing temps don't mix.

We got back to my place and had time before the rest of the guys would be there so why not? Dave and I, in about 20-30 minutes, had the new beam plates install and was a much easier job than I had imagined. One thing that was very helpful was have a hydraulic jack on the lift and placing some spacers on it and then gently "snugging/slighting lifting" the tranny>>

The Corsa exhaust install went smoothly with Dr. Phil giving the final adjustments and his blessing. I like the looks and of course the sound>>

And one has to ask this...what was Jim doing under the rear of the blue turtle...hmmmm

Thanks guys...really enjoyed the gathering!!

You probably could haved romped on it. Looks like Ecsta XS tires on there. They are still pretty grippy, even in the cold.

What are those wheels on Phil's car?

Another great day!!!!!

Michael's car is unbelievable.....

We were talking about a Wazoo annual event. When should it be and what should it be around?

Any ideas?

Did Michael provide the microfiber gloves to work on his car? Nice job guys, what are those two long things sticking out the back of Daves car? Another mod?

What a great WAZOO day! Nice weather, nice cars, and especially nice people. Here are some more pics:

Michael's 1990 ZR-1 is one of the finest examples of a ZR-1 I have ever seen:

Cool to see more pictures! Though I'd really like to see some more of David's car with the hood down, to see the coilover stance. And of Phil's car to see those multispoke wheels.

Bob,
They are 18" Fikse Profil 10s with fully polished centers riding on Michelin Pilots, 285/35ZR18 on the front, 335/30ZR18 on the rear. Here are some closer up pics taken today.

Hey Phil, thanks for the pictures! I don't know what it is about Fikse's, but they always look small in diameter. I'd have guessed those were 17"s.

Had you just jacked the car up when you took those? The rear looks cambered in.

Bob,
No, it's still at the factory ride height and camber setup. The street surface angles some where it's parked which may be causing some distortion in the photo. But I must admit after seeing David's AB lowered with coilovers my Z appears to be riding a little high in the water by comparison. Both front and rear tires are 26" in diameter which are slightly taller than the original factory tires.
