Mojave Mile 2011 Event Dates:
April 10, 2011 and October 8-9, 2011
The 2011 Rulebook and Entry package are available here
Mile Shootout racing is now on the West coast!
That?s right ? standing-start, flat out speed,
as fast as you can go in ONE MILE!
In conjunction with the Mojave Air and Space Port, a private airfield in Mojave, CA, the Mojave Mile Shootout is the latest and best venue for top-speed mile runs. This facility features a 12,000? runway, which allows a comfortable braking margin for the fastest machines, the latest in accurate laser timing equipment, a top-notch staff of experienced professionals and safety response teams, and a huge Paddock area with P.A. system, catered food, and overnight set-up capability.
The Mojave Mile is open to both cars and motorcycles, and, as the event grows in popularity, will be held multiple times per year (twice, in 2011). Mark your calendar NOW to attend one of the most exciting new racing venues in the country!

:flag2:Ran the Mojave Mile last year with my '94 ZR-1. Posted a speed of 155.5 mph consistantly. This year taking the '00 C5 coupe. Hope to do the same. C5 has 400 HP at the crank. We shall see what it does.

155 is about right for a non or slightly mod ZR-1
Glad to hear someone else from the brotherhood will be there
Look me up, I'll be at the Mariah Fri night, or in the paddock, probably the only ZR-1 there
