make a huge difference . a couple of weeks ago while at bill bs getting my clutch hydrolics replaced i asked greg bills right hand guy to ck my throttle at the asr . we foung i was only getting 85% throttle ,so i learned when ever you take the throtle cable off you must readjust the asr throttle . well yestrday i went to fontana and found that it really did make a difference . tbefore yesterday the best the car had run was 11.94@117.90 mph in july . well yesterday the i made 5 runs the worst was 11.90@120.11 and the best was 11.71@121.01 mph with the 60 fts being in the 1.8range all day. the car now zings to 7k,and feel like someone plumbed nitrus into her . the only change that was made was the readjusting of the asr assembly . so ck it if you havent you may find some new hp for free .

Would voltage reading at TPS with the pedal to the floor be a good way to check? If so, what would be the correct voltage?

A little off topic here but.....If you disconnect the harness at the TPS, be damn careful of the connector. I broke the locking tab on the connector at the end of the harness that fits into the TPS. I"m trying to find a new one. Our cars are getting old and the connectors are becoming brittle..

Good heads up. Unfortunately I busted mine about 2 years ago.
I bought a replacement at the dealer and spliced a new one. Nonetheless, still got to be careful.

Thanks.

Can anyone elaborate on the process of adjusting the cable and answer the question above about the voltage at the TPS. I am not sure but I have had mine apart and if there is some HP to gain from some adjustments I would sure like to capture it!
Thanks
