Those headers are sure pretty!!!
I will be there on the 19th. Let me know if there are any tools or supplies we need.
BTW, do you need/have the O2 Sensor wire extension. I can't remember if the 1990 set up needs the longer wire.

Roger that Jim! Yes, you do need the O2 extension on the 90, Stainless Works supplied one, so I'm good to go!

Hi Ricky,
Sorry to hear that Gina is having back surgery. That is never fun.
Hooking up on the way to Rich's sounds great. I hope you can make it.

Rich,
You were supposed to plan this on a day that I was working, but since you didn't I'll be there. You're lucky I'm going through a little WAZOO withdrawal. Looking forward to the first event of the year!!!!

I already told the Capt, My spousal continuation program demands that I be home for dinner plans with friends that evening. I will stay as long as possible, but can't guarantee I will be around for the whole project (unless we drastically cut our install time).

To be honest, I have missed so many WMD's traveling for work, I was iching to hang out with the WAZOO's. If we get the headers installed cool, if not I can handle it, my goal was to have a gathering . I also would like to get ALL header bolts in, so that may be a bit time consuming.

If you want ALL those holes filled, you should make sure Dr. Phil (jagdpanzer) is there to show us how!

Hey BTW, you may want to bring some extensions, sockets, and flex joints. I think I have everything, but you never know.

Well the WAZOO team successfully installed a set Stainless Works headers on my 90 today. The team had to use some creative re-enginerring of some of our hand tools, but got all 32 bolts installed successfully. Thanks to Jim, Yun, and Phil for all the help!! You guys are the champs!!

It was a good WAZOO day! Considering that GM only used 6 bolts to hold an exhaust manifold in place, I consider it amazing that we got 16 in each header. Thanks Rich for the hospitality and for having all of the prep work done.
Phil, Yun and Rich it was fun hanging out with you guys and turning wrenches.
Rich gets the polisher of the year award. You cannot imagine what that exhaust system looked like when Rich started working on it. Ricky is going to be bringing parts to Mt Vernon for Rich to shine them up. ;)

I would never had thought it possible to bolt all 32 holes. Well, I stand corrected! Leave it to Jag...
Actually got all bolts in - all 32 of them!

Rich, I also enjoyed the day to and thanks for the wonderful hospitality. The way you have your garage set up now wrenching on Zs there is real pleasure. A couple of those bolts fought us like tigers but we managed through force of will and a little ingenuity to screw them in anyway .

So how do you like the headers?
Sounds awsome, haven't driven it yet, still working a couple of issues discovered during tear down/re-assembly.
1. The O2 sensor pigtail extension provided by Stainless Works had the wrong gender pins in the female end of the connector . Ordered new pins, will install this week. Got to call and bitch at them today.
2. Discovered when I pulled the drivers side fender well that sometime during the cars life, the battery boiled over and the acid ran down the frame eating away all the paint. Rusted pretty bad, had to cean that up and mask it off and re-paint.
I'll let you know hopefully by next weekend.
