The values drop so quick, I've no idea anymore.

1990 red/red, blue glass top. About 50k miles.

Haibeck ported plenum, Haibeck headers, Haibeck tune, Corsa. 383whp.

Baer 6-piston brakes, two-piece rotors.

GS-D3's on AFS (US made) wheels.

If that's the case I guess I'll be keeping mine for a long time, but I planned on it anyway. :)

I couldn't pull 20k out of mine with ~35k miles on it with the ligenfelter package, including big brakes.

Hopefully for you guys these things will come into their own for you soon.

Selling the car?

I'm thinking hard about it. I don't really have the urge to drive it anymore. It isn't "doing it" for me, so that's probably a sign it's time to move on.

On the plus side for you all, values will almost certainly upswing strongly within seconds of me selling mine, much as they plummeted shortly after I bought it (sorry about that one!)

Bob,

WE all hope you reconsider. You are a valued ZR-1 brother....

So whats next?
Potentially sell the Z, and sell/trade the CTS-V in on a second gen. Not decided on that, though.

Taking it in the shorts on two cars to buy one that has lots of room to depreciate isn't sounding too smart, but I dig the improvements Caddy made...

You are one of the last people I thought would think of selling. If you do you'll be mist. If a used ZR-1 is only worth 15 to 20 thou. I'd put it away, uncover it once a year, pollish the chit out of it and look at it. I'd remember that it is a unique classic, a thing of beauty. Goog luck with whatever you decide to do.

David -

You "need" another one.....my son would be happy to watch it for you (or I would!!!)

Admirals need red brothers to keep them company!

The engine isn't what I find lacking, it's the rest of the C4 part. The way it crashes over rough roads, the terrible headlights, the slow wiper blades, all the little things that make it a poor daily driver. I drive the CTS-V all the time now, even though it's not as fast.

Thanks for the feedback folks. Hopefully we'll get some decent weather and salt-free roads, and I can drive the Z a bit to think about it.
