Bondra Performance Engineering - EZ Clutch Pedal Extension

This EZ Clutch Pedal Extension will fit all Corvettes with aluminum pedals without modifying or drilling your pedal. Installs in minutes. Made of High Impact ABS and engineered to fit your 2001-2004, Z06 and all 2006-2011 Corvettes with a manual transmission. Extends contact surface of pedal 40mm. Total Weight with Screws is 3.6oz.

Allows most drivers a more comfortable seating position so you don't have to sit so close to fully disengage your clutch. It also improves the fulcrum angle and slightly reduces the torque needed to apply the clutch. Will not alter clutch performance - designed only to improve the comfort and ergonomic position of the driver. You don't have to push your brake pedal all the way to the floor, but you do have to bottom out your clutch or risk burning it up. Vehicle ergonomics are set up to accomodate all drivers from the very tall to the very short, this compromises the seating position of most drivers.

This is the solution to that problem, it works perfectly and it looks great too!

Comes with EZ Clutch Pedal Extension, Backplate and 4 Stainless Steel Screws.

Notice this forum is all about C4 ZR-1's. They were made from 1990 to 1995.

Does this application work for our cars?

It doesn't look like it would, bu I could be wrong. Funny that something like this isn't offered for a car designed during the disco era when people wore platform shoes.

Are you really supposed to bottom out the clutch pedal when you shift?
I don't think I do.

Hi,
The EZ-Clutch Extension is made for the aluminum pedals but it will fit many other clutch pedals. You just have to drill the four holes.

How do you know if you've pushed it "enough" to fully disengage the clutch?

Some Corvette owners really like it, I guess it caters to the under 5'10" crowd.

On Bill's site in the Technical Information section I think he says that it is a must with our zf's that you hit the floor with the clutch pedal. Here's the link.

If I get any more spinal compression ( nice way of saying I'm short & getting shorter I think! ) I'm going to need to make a block for my clutch pedal......these cars were not meant for people under 5' 7" :(

Good article, notice the Warning:

Warning - Shallow clutching is deadly to these transmissions when powershifting.

This is why I made the Clutch Pedal Extension.

Looking at the design, and the way our Clutch pedals are I don't think it will work without modifying you add on part, let alone drilling our pedal

As for me, I am 6'5" and have no problems depressing the clutch pedal into the engine compartment :sign10:

This is made for the 5'9" and under crowd. At 6'5" you are probably looking for even more legroom.

Yes, the four holes would have to be drilled through the ZR-1 clutch pedal but it will fit on the pedal nicely.

Have you actually installed one in a C4?

No. Have put it on other vehicles though. Will have to try it out.
