Yup, it's Paul Smith's - I'm guessing SW has it on consignment - $59k and worth every cent.

Know any details about it? Who is Paul Smith? Their add doesn't do me anygood, it says nothing about it and that it has 2:59 gears. Could that be right?

Here you go, John Lingenfelter driving it.
Car has some good history.

This is a LPE 415 with all the trimmings.
That engine has all the goodies you could've gotten from LPE, basicly it has close to $50k in engine work.

That is an awesome car,i would say go for it.

I'm just suprised Paul is selling it, that was/is his baby.

Absolutely! Everyone saw his car last year @ BG and it's a work of art!

Lots more in that car than the Lingenfelter work as well....

Who finances a car like this? I qualify for the amount easy, but they (USAA) wont loan it on this car. They show a clean value for it as 17000 and they will loan up to 110% which gets nowhere near the amount of money needed, even if I put 25K down.

Buy Frank's '91 440ci. You'd save $17k and have a great car built by the ZR-1 Specialist. JMHO

I drool over a lot of cars (part of the reason I have so many), but I cannot buy them all :). I am afraid my gto with the lt5 will be as close as I get to owning another zr1.

There is a finance co. that specializes in lending money for older collector car. I can't remember off hand but as soon as I do I will post up. The Co. selling should have the info.

That is a beautiful car and one of the Z's that is at the top of the Z food chain. Good Luck

Pentagon Federal Credit Union is my favorite. Because the selling price exceeds the book value, they will require an appraisal. Give them a try.
