Anyone have any experience with heaters like this?

I like that it doesn't need venting installed, and the wiring is simple as it's just a 3-prong plug.

I wouldn't use it continually to keep the garage warm, rather on-demand. We have natural gas, so it would be nice to use that to heat the garage. Any thoughts on the brand, that style of heater, etc?

I have a fairly small 2-car garage, probably about 20x22x9'.

We use a Mr. Heater in the boat during these cold winter days. Good unit , reliable. We use propane because it's portable.
Don't go with a too small of a unit. Check out the garage heaters.

I'd think the 30,000 btu one shouldn't be too small. Right now I just have one of those oil-filled electric radiant heaters. It's 1500 watts, so that's only like 5,2000 btu's. Though that said, it doesn't cut it on cold days.
