Repalced and still no worky.... blew again... anyone have any ideas? Are these on the same circuit?

does the fuse blow when installed? or when you go to use the mirror controls?

The fuse does not blow when installed, I am confirming exactly when it does blow.... but I'm pretty sure it is when I try to use the switch.... for either mirror....

Is the Fuse the right AMP for the job? Too low it will blow upon use. Did you verify in the Drivers book what amp should be in there

Book shows 10A, I stepped up to 15 then 20 and get the same results.... so I know it isn't a current size issue....

does it blow when you try to use the Cruise as well?

Well that figures I just hate electrical issues and its never anything easy. A Bad switch or a pinched wire can easily cause this. Go through that manual and find every system that fuse ties too. Start with the mirror switch and harness. Its sucks but something is obviously grounding out the circuit cause that fuse to blow.

Valid question

Which fuse? Don't try a higher current fuse - you'll only make things worse because there is a dead short somewhere.

good point....

Anyone have an electronics diagram for this circuit?

Cruise fuse covers a lot more then Cruise only..

if you need other pages let me know

Indeed which is why I suggested finding every system tied into that fuse. Any update on this was the culprit found or is it a work in progress? GC

Yep and if it blows when the cruise engages then it narrows it down.

I hate chasing these problems

I hate ALL electrical issues. Probably, because I'm more mechanically inclined vs. electrically inclined. When I lost my entire amber glow night lights in my car it took me hours to track down the culprit via the FSM and then it was only a guess. But it worked. Did I mention I hate electrical issues. :read2:
