My buddy Pete (PLRX at CF) is having another C4 run. Being that there are at least 8 ZR-1's down in SoCal, I hope some of you can make it. Should be an awesome drive!

Here is the info Pete posted in a thread in another vette forum:

http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj290/plrx/Bomber%20Run/C4BomberRuns.gif

You got plenty of time to save money for gas and lunch. Plenty of time to convince your other half.

We are having fun in here lately and we have to do a face-to-face once again.

Saturday, April 23, 2011 be ready to show up.

Where?: Santa Monica-Malibu PCH and Canyon Roads. http://www.2uptouring.com/images06/Icons/WindingRoad-035px.jpg

Anyone else besides Ccmano planning to try and make this run?

I made it two runs ago so I'm really trying hard to be at this one. I need to get this project finished a couple of days before to make sure it will be ready for a trip.

I could have it running by tomorrow, but I committed myself to doing the top end porting because it's easy money on free hp.

It was really fun before, but gas prices may keep people away...or the rain.

The run is this Saturday. I know, the date keeps changing, but I hope at least one of you SoCal ZR-1 guys can show up. Even though I won't be bringing my Z, I'd like to see you guys' Z's in person.

I'll be going if I'm able to borrow my friend's C4. It isn't a Z, but it would still be lots of fun!

Ccmano, you still going?

I'd make the trip from Vegas but I'll still be in Afghanistan

Ok, I'm definitely in for the run. A friend let me borrow his '85 Corvette (which just happens to be white/red just like my Z!). I'm leaving in a couple of hours and I'll be staying over night so I'll be refreshed in the morning for the run.

Hopefully, some of you SoCal Z guys will show up, I wanna see some Z's in action! Updated meeting place and time info is at the beginning of this thread.

It will have to be on the next run, I'm in AZ for Easter and the ZFDoc is doing his thing with my 6 spd----ZR-1 is in it's natural state--up on jackstands, lol.

I'm going to swing by today, but I'm visiting family and can't hang out there all day so it would be luck if we ran into each other. Mom wants me to help cook and hide Easter eggs for the kids lol- we'll see ...

I'm across the north side of town in Peoria.

The run was awesome, I had a great time! It was nice to finally meet a fellow "Brotherhood of the Beast" member, tf95ZR1 and his car in person! You've got an awesome looking Z, Ted! Hopefully, more Z's will show up next time (including mine!)

And now for the pictures! The smaller pictures are ones that Pete (PLRX) took. The bigger ones, I took.

Here is the car I drove, it's a 1985 Z51 L98 auto with powder-coated Gen II Dymags and lowered about an inch I think. Interestingly, it's white/red just like my Z! It's no ZR-1 of course, but it definitely has some get-up-and-go. It also has a custom chip and aftermarket exhaust (can't remember the brand). It's owned by my buddy, Evan (eguyett1985 on the "other" forum) who was kind enough to let me borrow it for the weekend so I could go on the run.

First stop somewhere in the mountains to the west of Thousand Oaks, CA. There were LOTS of bicyclists on the roads that day!

Stopped for lunch at a place called Neptune's along the PCH. Very good seafood and a great view of the ocean in the outside patio eating area!
