I was told that the rear bumper of a 1990 ZR1 is unique to that year. Supposedly, the molding is different than the other years. Can anyone confirm this? :dontknow:

The rear bumper molding is unique to that year.... I thought the bumper itself was different, but it is the same from 1990 to 1995.

As David said BUT what might be confusing is the for MY 1990 the ZR-1 rear end was unique in style (square tail lights, wider, convex, etc) from the 1990 C4 non ZR-1 Vettes (round tail lights, concave). And for some really dumb thinking by GM product planners, starting in MY1991 C4s off all types had the same appearing rear ends (square tail lights, concave etc) and only the well versed ZR-1 folks could spot the difference in the 3 inch wider version on the ZR-1.
