There is a part missing from my center console and I can't figure out what to even call it to start searching for a replacement.
Take a look at the piccy - see on the passenger side to the left of the button/switch, there's a "hole"? The driver side has a little triangle plastic piece that goes there.

Anybody have some ideas? (Or better yet, a spare triangle thingie?)

good lord, is there a part number for ANYTHING on this car you guys don't have? One of the reasons I enjoy this site, people have actual useful knowledge. I should say almost all, we all know Keith is kind of worthless. Itlgo2 is just a reference to whats in his depends

Any chance you'd have the part # for the left-hand one?
Thanks,

Be careful when you vacuum your interior, they do not sit in there very tightly and can get sucked out.

They are available at Corvette Central, part # 484510. It cost $15.95 for a pair.

Excellent, thanks much. At that price it's not worth standing at the GM parts counter.
Having that got them the order for a few other seeks - a sawbuck's worth.
I had tried to get them from White Racing Products but their checkout didn't work with my browser and they didn't respond to their contact form. They had them, at ~$35. EACH.
Thanks again, that's a big help.
Of course when I pull the seats and everything at some point I'll probably find the old one - now it's guaranteed.
Best,
- Jeff

Mine was missing both triangle thingies when I got it... Did not even know what I was missing till now... Still not sure, do the thingies serve a purpose or are they just for looks???

They do block the somewhat annoying backlight glaring through.

They are just for looks. I think they are supposed to represent the upright part of the seat.

I thought maybe they were a stop for the button, the wife keeps pushing the button too far and knocking mine off the passenger side. Women... you can live without them.:-D
