I am going back in with my ZF tranny I am replacing the slave tonight. Its a slave from ecklers, the brand is "entric parts" and its made in Taiwan. Now I seem to remember posts about a batch of slaves that had seals put in improperly or backwards. I searched for it but didn't seem to find it. Now dose anyone have any advice on this topic or on the install?
Thanks Guys
Dave

Dave, It was a long while ago that the issue was ongoing I do think that you should be safe now. If I remember correctly it has been over 3 - 4 yrs since Bill brought this up to GM.
You could just pop out the slave's piston to make sure that the seal is on correctly, no metal fragments in the bore and no bore scoring or run out.
