Well, I must have been good this year.

I got some new tires: Nitto NT05 275's and 315's

I got a Haibeck chip and a Flowmaster exhaust. Just a little excited and wanted to share.

Heres some pictures:

looking forward to hearing more about the NT05s

looking to get a set, one of the few really good and affordable tires I can get in the C6 Z06 sizes for my 19 ccw C505 rims

The Nitto Invo's are great tires. Leaps and bounds over the F1 S/C tires. Now the NT05's are more of a dry performance tire. Superior in every racing condition to the Invo's. Be careful with the 05's in the wet. Nitto's are (IMO) the best value out there.

It's always nice to see that santa brought the goods! Enjoy!

I would be very curious to know two things. If I may be intrusive, what tire were you using? I would also be very interested in your evaluation of the 05's after you get some miles vs what you had on the car. TIA!

I wish I could give a more useful evaluation of the NT05 tires. I just switched from the original goodyear GS-C's that were on the car. I can tell you that these tires are a lot stickier than those were.

I have not put a lot of miles on them yet, but they seem to grip well so far.

Hey, thanks for your feed back! :handshak:

Were the GS-C's original? It's tough to evaluate 10+ year old hard & dried out rubber to new rubber!

I'm just trying to get a handle on what alternatives exist in our stock sizes and how they compare to what most of us Z drivers are addicted to, G/Yr GS-D3's....they are a tough act to follow.

Happy New Year!
