The most high performance delivery vehicle a machine shop ever had.
End of the day the boss says I need you to run these parts to the platers on your way home. No problem.

They are one of the components of a device called a pulser or directional drill. The device they will be installed in will be sent 12'000 ft deep into the gulf of mexico. And once they reach the ocean floor they will drill another 7'000ft down. Instead of simply drilling straight down these drills can actually change directions controled by a computer. Its pretty Damn amazing. We made 400 of these and we are making 100 of another style. There are allot of tight tolorences on those parts. +-.001 +- .002 with a 16 finish. There's good money in making those parts as long as you don't scrap to many of them. Most of our customers are involved in the oil field. Baker oil tools, Smith international, Haliburton Ect. Business has really been picking up. We are swamped right now. "That's a good thing".
