Looks nice Scott! Do you still have the silver auto? Or does the Z06 replace it?

Spotted your rotors (assume you had just washed the Z06)... get the rotors zinc plated and most of your rust issues will be gone (except of course on the rotor to pad contact area until you apply brakes)

Michael thanks. Yes, I did just wash it. Got caught in some pretty nasty weather driving home Tuesday night. It was still a great drive. I've spoken with you about your zinc plated rotors and I definitely would like to get contact and shipping information from you to get the rotors from both my ZR1 and Z06 plated.

Chevy, Hemi, Buick...they're all great if they have wheels and you don't have to push them up hills.

Does that mean the Z06 will be your daily driver? Also, out of curiosity, did you sell the silver car to a private party? Or a dealer? I've a co-worker in the market for an early C6 or C5Z, and I'm sure yours was in great shape when you sold it. If it's sitting at a dealer, I'll let him know.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty much living my own dream right now. Truth is, without the support of my wife there is no way I'd be able to have both a family and either of these cars.

hiznhrz = 91 ZR-1
hrznhiz = 06 Z06

The other reality is, if not for the NetRegistry and the information shared among member of local chapters like the WAZOO, I don't think I'd be able to keep the ZR-1 road worthy.

It's taken me years to get past worrying about the mileage I'm putting on a nice car. What I still have trouble with is watching expensive cars get beat to death by poor roads, careless drivers, etc. I now drive a Tacoma pickup as my daily driver and have my pick of supercars to play with and drive on the weekends :D

I sold the C6 to a private party in North Carolina.

You need to do the C6 Z06 brake upgrade on the ZR-1 now! You don't want her to feel ignored because of the new kid in the house. Congrats on your new ride Sweeeeet

Are you kidding? I'm going to let you work out the kinks first. Thanks and see you tomorrow. How early are you going to get started?

I can't make it down tomorrow because of my sons 6th birthday party. I do have all the hardware for the rear brake install, all kinks are gone. I'm taking the kids to Disney next week so I will have to do the install when I get back. :saluting:
