The web hosting co. is telling us we have to update our PHP, problem is, they only told us after they pulled down the site without any warning. Should be back up this evening or tomorrow morning.

Funny how that happens eh? They do that to the ZFDOC all the time. Heres and idea.... Maybe a couple of weeks before they time out perhaps send a warning email to the customer their service is about to expire. Of course a business has nothing ELSE going on right?

I think my web hosting co. just held me hostage for $200.00

Simply unreal, talk about little to no control over your own f'ing life.

Monday morning, they emailed me telling me my site was flagged for possible mal ware and "blah blah blah" we have to pull the site until you fix it yourself, or pay us $200.00 and we'll fix it.

Backing up 9GB of web space and then scanning it for viruses took me all day yesterday and today, i finally had had enough of getting no other work down and paid the bloody $200.00

Site will be put back up later today.

I use www.bluehost.com for linux-type hosting (I assume that's what you're running if it's a PHP site) - they're always good and on the ball. Never had a single issue with them.
