I am in need of a Hood for my 95. Going to do a Ricky Project this winter. Anybody have one or can provide me contact info for another that would be great. Thanks :proud:

:happy1: I can't wait to see this. Is it maybe a cut out in the hood with Lexan window like the C6 ZR1 to show off the LT5?.... :D

If it is a Ricky Project then it might even be bigger than that. :cheers:

Shipping is gonna be the big $$ on a hood, trust I have checked, I wanted a high rise, or at least one in better shape then mine

I have an undamaged C4 hood from a 91 corvette. Crimson red. Probably would need paint. I am in vancouver, WA. Let me know if your interested.

Ricky,

Did you see the 4 in high rise hood on the other Forum; a fellow Z member is selling one for like $400? If you want to get creative, the Z guys in Japan can ship you a carbon fiber one with hood vents and all. If I get a job there and move I am definitely putting the carbon fiber hood with vents on my Z. I want to say it was about $1500, but the shipping is the killer. I tell you what, if I do get a job there I will put a few in my household goods shipment when I return.:cheers:

Problem is I'm on the other side of the country (Los Angeles) and wouldn't
want to ship. White on edges is tape holding on protective foam.

I have a black hood available too, from my 94, but likewise, I wouldn't want to ship and I'm halfway to the other side of the country. :-)

I'll bet one turns up near your back yard.

Hey Craig can they do a stock looking carbon fiber hood(no vents),if so bring one back for me :)

There is no problem Ted , next BG trip just put the hood with your luggage.

Hey Frank!
Two years ago was a blast! Meeting everyone I had
just pictured on the net, seeing the NCM and all the
ZR-1/Corvettes. The talks, Driving around Kentucky, JVD, etc.

Then last year was a once-in-a-lifetime event. Seeing
and hearing from the "Big Guys" was amazing (and JVD's was
bigger and better!)

I don't know if that can be topped. Think I'm BG'd out now for awhile.
Want to come out to CA for a mile run? :fahne:
You can strap the hood on your car and sell it on the east coast.

still Looking, one just fell through. Big Thanks to one of our Z brothers(Frank) for taking a look at it for me. One of the peices to my custom puzzle was delivered yesterday. :-D
