Guys,
It is time for nominations for the Corvette Hall of Fame.
I looked through the list and I think Tommy Morrison is a prime candidate for being inducted. What say all of you?
I do not know enough about him to be able to fill out all the paperwork necessary for the nomination. I am thinking maybe JVD might be one who could. If you read this Jim, please let us know your thoughts and if you would be able to help with that.
If anyone else is interested in bringing this about please step up.

I researched this process a couple of years ago when I was trying to nominate Doug Rippie. I needed some info from him but the was either too busy of too shy at the time. I'd bet the latter...:)
There is a form that is available on the NCM website that can be downloaded. Once it is filled out, the most important thing is to get letters from anyone who will agree to his worthiness. In Tommy's case, I think that would be rather easy.
Nominees are picked for each of three catagories. One from the heritage aspect, like a GM guy, designer, engineer, manager etc., one from the racing or performance side, and I think the last is from the community side.
The nominations are closed Sept 30th so you better hurry.
Very good idea John. If you need a hand with the letter's of worthiness just let me know.

Thanks Frank. Here's a link to the form, any help from anyone would be great. If I cannot get ahold of Tommy, then there wouldn't be much point in continuing. I'll be working on this over the weekend.

OK Gang. I spoke with Tommy and he asked me to help complete the forms etc. His buddy Ralph Kramer is in town for the Camro show and will be stopping by to help complete the info. Is this OK with you all? If I get the form partially fillled out with hsi persopnal info, you will needed to fill in as nominee and reasons for his nomination etc?

Guys,
I just saw the deadline is September 30th to get this information to the Museum. I don't see anyway to get the information we would need together in an acceptable format to have it delivered in time for this year. If I had everything already, it would be one thing.
I am thinking this should be a job for next year. Maybe the boafrd would consider putting the information together and presenting it as a nomination from the ZR-1 Net Registry.
What do you guys think?
IS there any interesst out there ?? .
Are you kidding me Jim ? This is a "no brainer". Let's get 'er done asap for next year's nominations. If I can be of any help at all let me know guy's :handshak:
