Thanks to Dave J and the registry, I am going to be putting headers on my dk red car. Does anyone have a cover plate for the EGR inlet on the plenum?

Okay, here's what's going to happen. If I can, I will document it.
1) headers--thanks Paul W for the oil bracket
2) SRP 165 HD thermostat
3) replacing B&M shifter with ZF Doc shifter
4) replacing a wheelwell housing
5) X-pipe in place of resonator
6) probably yanking out some stereo addons
7) fixing something in drivetrain-suspect C beam loose
8) maybe injectors
9) still trying to find a solid top

My ISP keeps screwing up and I'm paying for it in more ways than one. Lost a bunch of business cause of them. I'll take care of you on the cover. You just need a gasket ;)
No way I can be mad at you [-X I'll have something in the mail to you soon :saluting:

PS: I'm NOT a texter ...

I do know Jeffvette sold some, I have one of his, very nice piece, I also have to look for the one I made, one side looks good (side you would see of course).

I will try to look for it tonight,

Yep. The car is one of the best looking cars I've seen. I had it for sale but changed my mind--carried it to Carlisle for sale. First time in my life I left a car show liking what I had better than when I arrived. The shows usually cost me another car.

Anyway, I decided to keep it and enjoy it. Karo and I were talking last night--I may pull the engine myself and work through a top end porting. I'll see how satisfying my mods are.

Dyno,
Sorry but I do not have the extra time to do that. I need to update the info in our newsletters, too, but will have to wait till I have the time. Just keep watching as new goodies keep popping up all the time. Thanks for the support :handshak:

Update on parts stocking:

1) headers--thanks Paul W for the oil bracket
It's been almost 3 weeks and am still awaiting a Stainless Works delivery. Thanks to David and the Registry for a fair price on the headers. Paul's bracket arrived and looks great. Check Carter's work in the last photo. Thanks to the Brotherhood for great support. (Picture below)

2) SRP 165 HD thermostat
Arrived. (Picture below)

3) replacing B&M shifter with ZF Doc shifter
Bill Boudreau is awesome! Can't wait to get the shifter in the car. I needed several non-standard pieces for a shifter change and he had what I needed. (Picture below)

4) replacing a wheelwell housing
Kurt at White Racing Products. Paid the premium... (Picture Below)

5) X-pipe in place of resonator
In same as #1.

6) probably yanking out some stereo addons
Searching for a rear center carpet and insullation.

7) fixing something in drivetrain-suspect C beam loose
Have some beam plates but was planning them for another application. We'll see.

8) maybe injectors
Have not had time to test.

9) still trying to find a solid top
Made of unobtainium.

Carter,

That IS a pretty piece of work. Being an old member of the trade, I understand what it takes to turn out work this nice. Looks simple, but the concentricity has to be right on to look this nice. A few thousandths off & it will show like a sore thumb.
