I emailed the ebay seller that I bought my 315/35 17's from two years ago. Email-
I bought two Vreds 315/35 17 from you 2 years
ago. I didn't want to commit to all four until I tried them out on the
rear. I loved them but they are totally smoked now and I need all 4 275/40
front and 315/35 17 rear. Whats the best deal you can hook me up with on
all four? Thanks Rick
Reply $745+shipping. Give me a call. When I ordered from him last time they arrived in 4 days and the date code of mfg on them stated they were only 2 months old. I'm jumping on that. Just thought I'd spread the word. He has all sizes in stock.
Rick,Sumitomos are about $400-$500 for a set of 4

That is very cheap. But how good are they compared to the others Pete? Because this year I'm gonna shift gears from drag racing to tracking the car at Texas World Speedway at least a few times this year and learn how to drive it faster in the corners. So I'll need a pretty good tire.

OK
I don't know how good they are.
I thought for just driving around town and smokey burnouts how bad could thay be for $400

That track looks like a lot of fun, that's one of my goals is to try a banked track. For street tires on the track, the only one I've tried was the gsd3 and it got greasy in about 10 minutes and then the outer 1/3 of the tire melted and rolled inward, they were almost like new before that and two track days took the outer 1/3 down to the wearbars. I've seen others use nt-05 on the track and they look like they wear good without the rubber rolling over.

Thanks!!
I've got some on order.
I should have asked this before I ordered them, but are the rears as wide as the original factories?? I know some manufacturers 315's are a little narrow.

The GSC's just have a very square profile. The Ultrac sessantas have a bigger corner radius. Here's an old pic of my thrashed set to show you how wide they are.

I'll be getting me another set on payday from the same guy. Once you've put them through their paces Let me/us know what you think of them.

Oh yeah those are wide!! They should be sent out tomorrow hopefully and I'll probably see them in about 5-10 days. I'm looking forward to throwing them on and getting rid of the worn Dunlops.
Thanks for the picture!

I think you will really like them. I've had Gforce KDWS's and GSC's and I liked these better. Several of the forum members have them and I havent heard a complaint yet.
