Hi,
I am waiting for manuals. In the meantime I have an INFL REST light on and I want to scan for a code or whatever.
Does anyone have a list for the 90 trouble code numbers that they can email me ?
Thanks
Don

Prob corrosion on the sensors. The MY 90 was famous for that

Once you fix this issue, the timing to reset the code is critical. When I had this code, took me several tries to reset the code.

FYI, to get the SIR codes, ground pin "K" of the ALDL (third pin from the right on the bottom row) and then turn the ignition to "run", but don't start the car. The INFL REST light will blink the codes.
Post up what you get, and I'll tell you what it means. There are like 20 different codes and I'd rather not type them all out.

Gordon Killebrew has a glovebox sized book on the codes and a set of ALDL plugs which make reading the codes and resetting relatively easy.
Sounds like you need to clean up the two front impact sensors.
IMPORTANT Make sure you disconnect the battery from the car for at least 15 munutes before attempting any repair work on the SIR system. You don't want to blow the airbag. $$$$$.
Have you ever read the codes on a car in this manner before? It will blink once then 2 blinks which is a code 12. It will do this 3 times then it will blink the codes. Each 3 times.
Good luck, John

It takes about 60 seconds tops to read the codes before spending time fixing the wrong issue. You can ground the pin with a bent paperclip.
