I've never been crazy about the black widow krinkle engine finish even thought I appreciate their rarity and hi HP. Looks like it would be a pain in the butt to clean.

In my opinion if you really want it to look spectacular in black, look great forever! Go with gloss black powder coat. I don't know if you've ever seen Bob Halls 415 but he had the plenum, valve covers throttle body air horn ect all done in gloss black. Man did it look super sharp. I took some picture s and video of it 3 years ago at Coreys. Jerry of Jerrys gaskets and Glenn can back me up on that. I'll send you the pictures and video tommorrow so you can take a look at them.

Yes, VHT 2000 degree primer/VHT 900 Degree Caliper/ black satin paint.......I was not sure if Satin was the color I wanted.....a flatter black might look better.
To Paint the letters I found that using a small micro screw driver works great, dip it in paint and then glently drop it in the letter and the paint will actually fill in the letters on its own.
The Ghost Lotus is a VHT Graphite and it really pops in the 2nd photos, not sure why some cannot see it.
I hear Viagra overuse can cause this kind of vision issues.

No MAP sensor mounting bosses, the detail you will go to save weight.,,,,,,and no Lotus shadowing..

I guess I have been using too much viagara. I don't see it in the second set of photos. Or may be it is the monitor resolution.
Regardless, if you like it that is all that counts!

Yeah you did not strip the old stuff off nd sand it to 600 grit to get a smoother finish?
