Yea, nice car! Wonder what the reserve is? 35K??or higher?? Somehow I think that car would look better with the A-molds on it. Just a personal opinion. Do ya think Barrett-Jackson can get north of 35K for the car?

Oh well if I find out I hit lotto I'm gonna try to be like Demps, Ted with all the 95's he is collecting!:sign10:

That sure is a nice car. Guess is that the reserve will be a little north of 30K , and that would be a steal !

The guy is asking 30k. for the car.

Bids at 27.1k with 3 days left. With a little luck he'll get it.

Looks like your're getting close to the 50 posts also.

That IS a nice car. At $30k it might be an OK buy...not stellar, but not bad.

It's funny how time changes us. When it came out I thought the "Ruby Red" color was so great looking, and the colored wheel inserts were cool. When I see them now, though, the color just looks purple to me. It's not red at all, and not overly attractive to my eye. And the wheel inserts just look odd, like it's the wrong part for the car.

:dontknow:

I agree the wheels look like crap with the inserts.

Me...I kinda like the look of the wheels and inserts, something different from all the others...infact I like the paint colour as well, a good looking car....to me!

The thing that really makes that ZR-1 different to me is the paint. If I could get away with buying a 2nd ZR-1 that would be the one.

It was only available on the ZR-1 for one year...1993 not sure you can say that about any other color offered on the ZR-1

Quess its kinda like black rose... either you love it or hate.

To me black rose looks alot more purple than the ruby red..

The other 93 Ruby Red ZR-1 never cleared reserve at $28,875.00... the car had 13,550 miles.

Gotta wonder why the one that was sold with 7600 miles was worth almost another $17 grand to someone.

Anybody have a rational explanation for what just happened?

Maybe the buyer was looking for something to put in a collection for show & NCRS type events? Figure low milage = more OEM stuff on the car down to the little stuff like spark plugs & the BG air in the tires?

I found alot of OE stuff on my 90 when it arrived, like the OE fuel filter, plugs, PCV valves, air filter, belt, and the BG air.:sign10: in the tires along with the tires! I saved all that silly stuff...don't know what to do with 16 yr old tune up parts and tires?:icon_scra

Plus there is that mind thing about less than 10K miles on a car. I know when I crossed 10 K with mine I was on the road to BG and I had a little thought as to "the car is not new any more". Then on the flip side I figured "now it's broken in! Hammer time!".

Knowing and going thru what I just did with mine, I would do a higher milage car next time because at least you know some stuff would be sorted out.
