Has any one used Haibeck Automotive Technology for any engine or suspension mods? and what is your opinion about quality and honesty.

Do a search using the above function. Haibeck is a legend in the ZR-1 community. Very few of us on here are not using a product or have used one of his services in the past. Anybody in Chicago land or the FBI (Fast boys of Illinois) connection want to post up a few comments. BTW welcome to the board :hello:

While I have not used his services, I have never heard a single negative comment from anyone over the years. There has always been praise for his knowledge and work.

A can only add positively to what has been said. Marc's products are excellent and his client service attitude is first class. I can't recall Marc not responding to a question in less than 24 hours. We are very lucky to have him in the Community.

You'd be in good hands trusting your prize possession to Marc.

I have never been disapointed in buying parts through him, I haven't had any engine work done because I do my own engine work. But I have delt with him for my chip and he is very good to work with.

I've had headers and intake porting done by him. He's also answered countless questions I've had, with great information and detail. Great guy, great asset to the ZR-1 community, great products and services, great all around. Couldn't ask for more quality work, or a more honest guy.

Plus if you bring your car to him or pick it up, schedule it for a time and the FBI crew can meet you for Pizza and Drinks

Marc is the best out there. I drive from Minnesota to bring my car to him. There isn't anything he doesn't know about the Z's that I know of. Best guy you want to deal with - you won't be disappointed.

Welcome to the forum.............:handshak:

Marc finished my car in March 2010 (500pkg plus a bunch of custom add ons) final total due was to the penny of what he said it would be. Great communication the entire time of the build. I would not hesitate to use him again :worship: Quality of work was top notch

I can't tell you how long Marc has officially been in business; I'm thinking more than 10 years. How many businesses do you know of where people spend thousands of dollars per transaction and no one walks away without thinking they've just done business with one of the most down to earth, competent, patient, completely transparent individuals possible who is there to answer every phone call and every email (usually in 24 hours or less). These phone calls and emails are answered even if your car is not in his shop or you've never done business with him. I'll bet you can count on one hand (if at all) the number of people in the automotive world who you can say that about.

Having met Marc and known him for years this seems odd at best. Please let's hear your side of the story and then I'll get Marc to respond.

I would like to know a little more, this statement is a kind of vague and I'm sure Marc will make it right.

Not to change the subject but Houston, we have a problem. I'm glad to see that we now have American flags to select. I have the work thou-sands in my post above. The name of the Smiles icon is u$a. The API for this site is seeing the u$a characters inside the work thou-sand and inserting the icon. For example, thousand.

And so as not to steal the OPs thread, Marc Haibeck is a stand-up guy...

As in all things (especially on the internet) you can find something negative on almost anyone. No matter how good you are occasionally mistakes happen or a customer just can't be satisfied. Given Marks record I'd say his performance has been astonishingly good. If anything he may be a bit slow, but then he is basically a one man operation. You won't anyone better.
