hello everyone!
names scott.
i have never had a 90's zr-1 but loved the motor! think there the best looking motor GM put in a car, and i think that the 1957 belair is one of the best looking cars. soooooo hear goes!!!!
i can get a 91zr-1 crashed car very cheap.my idea is the swap in the lt5/6speed in to my 57belair project car... i know theres alot of work involed with this swap. fab work isnt a problem but im not to sure about the lt5's needs..
i know im new and havent put in my time with you guys!but any help you guys are willing to give me on what is needed and what needs to be swaped over......would be GREAT! pics are of 57 and its frame...... its waiting for that great motor to be sitting in there!!!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::dancing:danci ng:dancing

I seem to remember that the LT5 wouldnt fit into the stock frame without extensive mods. I can give you the email of a guy who put one into a 55 convertible. It used a custom frame though. PM me if you want it.

Great swap ! Plenty of room for the LT5 and enough room for T/T's. Keep in touch.

Enjoy the project, this power is intoxicating as well as the history of this motor!! Best of luck on reaching your personal goal!
Please remember me when you are ready to sell the remains.

Great swap!! Its good to see someone else doing an engine swap like I am doing to my 69 Camaro. You are doing your radator same way I am. Looks like you used all the OEM ECU and electronics. Very clean Very good job. Rarely am I inpressed with most peoples work but you did an A++ job
