CALLING ALL WAZOO's!!!
Well my new Bendpak lift on it's way , the estimated delivery date to the freight company in Manassas is Tuesday 6/8/10. I am putting out a feeler to see what everyone's availbility is. I have a friend who will go with a flatbed truck and drop in my driveway. I have an engine hoist lined up so not a lot of back breaking, just need experience in assemby. I am looking at either Saturday 6/12 or Sunday 6/13. If that's no good, we can try Saturday 6/19 or Sunday 6/20. Once I have a concencus, I'll firm up the date.

Cool! Congrats on the lift. They don't deliver it to your door/driveway though?

Yeah, they do deliver, but YOU have to unload off the truck, they won't, which mean a fork lift or Bobcat which I don't have. Also the last tractor trailer I had deliver my air compressor, the trailer caught two of my neighbors overhead phone and cable lines and ripped them down. In the name of good neighbor relations, I opted to pick up my parcel at the freight office

mine was delivered to my drive way but I had a fork lift.
a Bob cat or something would be fine you can rent them
see what the cost is verse going to the depot and picking it up loading it onto a car hauler.

I am available both Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th. I will not be available the next weekend.
I just checked the manual. You will need "12 quarts of 10-WT hydraulic oil or Dexron-III automatic transmission fluid." If I remember correctly, I bought the 10-WT hydraulic fluid at Advance Auto Parts.
