wow what a great event!

Special thanks to all who brought Cars on display (Eric*, Dennis*, Ed, Chuck(2), Randy*, Robert(2), Jeff, Roy(2), Keith, Tyler, and Frank.

Also thanks to Eric and Keith for heading up the Prototype seminar and what incredible information we got!!!

Tommy Morrison brought his 1990 (SILVER / red interior) to the show and that is a real one of a kind car!!! Facinating character and an honor to meet him!

The GS Registry gave OVER $15k to the NCM and Hutch had his hair painted blue / white. Unreal!!!!!

Gordon Killebrew gave some items that brought almost 1k in the name of the ZR1netregistry towards the Race Track.

Registration for the event was over 240pp (paid) and we had about 215 show up.... The banquet was over 180pp with many late add on's!!! Food was great and we had an LT5 cake for desert!

Dave Bright was honored with a lifetime achievement award given by Dave M and this is something he has long deserved! Well done Dave!

Many new ZR1's showed up and participated!

JVD has a BBQ @ Automasters and raised lots of $$$$ for a deserving family. Great job Jim.

Hoping to do the same thing next year!!

Thanks for all who came and helped make this event special!!!

cheers

David

*Brought cars from Arizona and Eric Jackson brought 2!!!!! Dennis DROVE his AO Aerobody and then detailed it to perfection.

Thank YOU for all your hard work and help along the way to each of us, and me especially - getting room reservations when there were none, etc, etc.

You sir, are a class act. Proud to have a WAZOO be an honorary member of the FBI!

Anywayz....It was great to put so many faces to the handles I've seen these past years. Had a great time - almost drown on the way home (I've driven in worse rain...Just can't recall when!!), but looking forward to the next one. Mebby we'll get to do some racin' next time!?

Thanks again, Dave. Great job.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Keith, this is not Tommy's ZR-1. His was a silver 91 with first gen Dymag wheels and a Florida plate.

David,

You my friend were a major part of the success and we are all so thankful to have folks like you. I know there are many that were in the background helping as well as everyone that attended to make it a success. This kind of support is what will keep the dream alive. Thanks for also convincing me to come back to the forum.

Aloha,

Craig

Correct, Tommy's ZR-1 was lighter silver. It was parked at JVD's where Tommy unloaded all his donation stuff for the auctions at the BBQ and NCM from about noon Thursday until sometime late Fri. Think it was parked next to the one pictured during the BBQ...His has a very interesting emblem on hood and rear gas cover. JVD had Jim Jr doing some detail work on it for Tommy

I've been back at home on Whidbey Island, WA, since about 5 PM Sunday and still haven't come down from the high of the best Corvette event I ever attended.:handshak:

A big THANK YOU, David!!!

I can't say enough about all the work you did and for keeping us "in the loop" as far as what was going on. I know you went through a lot of work as far as putting together a very special collection of display cars for the Gathering.

Until the next time I see you and can buy you a beer, this will have to do.

David. This Bud's for you!

Thanks.

Can't say enough good things about David. Class act for sure. But also just a really great guy.

I'd love to insert a handful of smart-a$$ comments here, but can't. You're too nice! Besides, there's not enough AB cars out there. So we gotta stick together.

This was my first and BEST Gathering - you helped make it very special and thanks for making me feel so "at home" and for bringing Jim Ingles over to our table on Wed evening - that too was so special.
